Mount Ararat South Road Works Progress
Works along Mount Ararat South Road are advancing steadily, with road boxing expected to be nearing completion this week. This marks an important step in shaping the future road corridor and preparing the foundation for the next stages of infrastructure installation.
Conduit installation has now been completed, with drainage and electrical works scheduled to follow.
Subgrade removal and improvement works will continue throughout the month, ensuring the road base is properly prepared to meet engineering standards ahead of further construction activity.
Noise Wall Construction
Approval is expected soon from the Department of Transport and Planning for construction of the project’s noise wall, an important milestone for the estate’s infrastructure planning.
With approval expected in the coming month, preparatory works are moving ahead. Geotechnical testing and borehole drilling are scheduled to take place this month, allowing engineers to assess ground conditions and finalise structural requirements prior to construction commencing.
Stage 1 and 2 Works Continue
Within Stages 1 and 2, progress continues following the completion of recent drainage works. Sleeper retaining walls are now nearing completion, helping define lot boundaries and prepare the landscape for the next stages of development.
Survey crews will soon begin final lot pegging across both stages, an important step that provides precise site positioning ahead of future building activity.
Sales Office Relocation Update
Please note that the Kala Sales Office is temporarily closed as we prepare to relocate to our new permanent home on Mount Ararat South Road in Pakenham East.
Once reopened, the Sales Office will sit within the Kala masterplan itself, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the future community first-hand and see exactly where their new home will take shape.
