From major construction milestones on site to welcoming so many home buyers, the community has continued to take shape in exciting ways. Here’s a look back at what we’ve achieved this year and what’s ahead for 2026.
Construction Progress at Kala
Construction activity at Kala has continued to move forward steadily throughout 2025, with a number of important milestones reached as we head into the end of the year.
Internally, retaining walls within lots have now been completed, and topsoiling works are nearing completion. These works mark a key transition point for the project, with internal works now well underway and setting the foundation for the next phase of delivery as we move into the new year.
Along Mount Ararat South Road, western verge works have been completed, while installation of both recycled and drinking water services is currently ongoing. These essential infrastructure works will continue through to the end of the year, before civil works relaunch in the new year. A planned road closure is expected to commence in January to allow the remaining works to be completed efficiently and safely.
A Strong Year for Sales
2025 has also been a positive year on the sales front, with strong interest from homebuyers seeking space, lifestyle and long-term value in Pakenham East.
Demand throughout the year saw land in Stage 2 completely sell out, while Stage 1 is now down to just a handful of remaining lots. It has been fantastic to see this response to Kala and the confidence buyers have shown in the community and its future.
