Reaching key milestones at Stages 1 and 2
After months of planning and on-site works, we’re pleased to share that the sleeper retaining walls are now complete. This means that the final task left to do is the installation of the electrical kiosk. Our team is busy on the ground to ensure a smooth authority approval and handover process.
Survey crews have been booked to begin final lot pegging across both stages. Following this, valuations and soil testing will commence, with these activities expected to take place next month.
The latest at Mount Ararat South Road
While progress remains steady, approvals for Stages 1 and 2 are tied to the completion of the Mount Ararat South Road upgrade, along with planning approvals for the sound attenuation wall near the Princes Freeway.
Approvals have taken a little longer than expected and have therefore pushed the revised title expectation to May 2026. In the meantime, preparatory works are moving ahead, with geotechnical testing and borehole drilling being completed in March.
Sales Office relocation update
The Kala Sales Office remains temporarily closed as we prepare to move to our new permanent home on Mount Ararat South Road in Pakenham East.
Once reopened, the Sales Office will sit within the Kala masterplan, giving visitors a chance to experience the future community first-hand and see where their new home will come to life.
