Stages 1 and 2
Strong momentum continues across Stages 1 and 2. Electrical installation is now complete, with auditing and testing currently underway to ensure a smooth authority compliance process. Practical Completion is expected in the coming weeks – a significant milestone we’re looking forward to sharing with our community.
External works
This month saw the completion of a 130-metre bore beneath the Princes Freeway, bringing electricity supply directly to Kala. On the road, prime and base course asphalt has also been complete along Mount Ararat South Road and the Princes Highway deceleration lane.
External watermain commissioning has taken place, with water supply going live in the coming weeks. The noise wall is nearing planning approval and is also expected to commence construction over the next few weeks.
