Stages 1 and 2
Construction activity across Stages 1 and 2 has continued to advance throughout November. Footpath, crossover and topsoiling works are nearing completion. Internal works are also progressing well, with completion on track for the end of the year. This keeps Kala aligned with its delivery schedule as the community prepares for the first stages to come to life!
Mount Ararat South Road Works
Significant progress has also been made along Mount Ararat South Road. Western cut-and-fill works are currently underway and are expected to be finalised this week. From next week, installation of both the recycled water and drinking water services will begin along the road corridor. These installations are scheduled for completion by Christmas, forming a key part of the essential infrastructure required to support future development.
Upcoming works
With watermain works set to wrap up by the end of the year, the interim upgrade of Mount Ararat South Road is planned to commence in the New Year. This upgrade will deliver improved access and connectivity for future residents and visitors to the estate.
